Hey!
My name is Anton, I am a photographer based in the wonderful city of Vancouver, Canada. I have been doing photography on and off since the early 2000’s, mostly experimenting with different mediums and gear, learning the basics, and documenting adventures. In the middle of 2017 I decided to travel around British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario to experience and photograph the beauty of Canada. It was an eye-opening journey that transformed my approach to creating images: gear and “technicalities” of the craft became no longer of a big interest, instead I shifted my attention to the art of capturing unique moments and feelings they provoke.
The source of my inspiration is the unique atmosphere of coastal regions of British Columbia. I am forever in love with diverse landscapes of the province: its evergreen rainforests, snowcapped mountains, gorgeous alpine meadows, the relentless Pacific Ocean, its wild sandy beaches and rugged coastline. I find great joy in exploring, experiencing, and photographing the beauty of this part of the world.
My goal as a photographer is to share places that I love, to provoke emotions, and to inspire others to spend more time outside. I strongly believe that through being out we learn a lot about ourselves and about the world around us. Which, in turn, makes us care more about the health and diversity of our beautiful planet.
Hopefully, while browsing my website you felt something special and got inspired to get out and seek your own adventures. See you on the trails!
Anton 😊
